Smiles!!

Samara has been smiling for us since she got home. Yeah, yeah...it's gas...right. We refuse to believe it! Here is a smile captured on film:

She continues to be the most precious baby girl. We are in love. Have I mentioned that?! I've had some really tough nights with her as she is not on a schedule. It's still worth it though. Just when I reach the end of my rope, we have a really good night and such a fun day that it makes me forget all about the sleepless nights! We went to the doctor yesterday and she weighs 9 pounds! She is a good eater...but a sleepy eater. The doctor thinks that part of the reason she is not such a good sleeper is that she doesn't get a good feed in, she nibbles a bit and then falls asleep only to wake an hour later, hungry. So we're trying to bug her into staying awake for a long feed, especially leading up to bedtime...so getting her cold by taking off blankets, rubbing her hands, tickling her feet, etc. Last night it worked really well so fingers crossed that it continues!
