And WOW. Does she ever love it!! I put her in the seat and she seemed pretty pleased (as you can see from the pictures). But when I got into my seat and then looked back at her to smile? She was over the moon!! It was like she was thinking, "so I get to see everything AND Mommy turns around and makes faces at me?! NO WAY!!!"

The Maiden Voyage
I've written (numerous times!) about rear facing car seats. I had planned on keeping Samara rear facing until she was 2. Then I realized that our car seat can only stay rear facing until Sam reaches a height of 32 inches. At her 18 month doctor's appointment, she measured 31.5 inches and has since outgrown some pants so I knew the time had come. At the doctor's she weighed 21 pounds so she has finally met the weight guideline for forward facing. So it was time.
NO WAY!!!"

So fun for them to get a different view...but also for mama to get a better view. Enjoy!

She looks so very happy to be facing forward.
