Friday Night Leftovers
- It's Friday Night Leftovers time again. How is that possible?! The week flew by, especially because here in Alberta, Monday was a holiday. Want to play along? Join the lovely host HERE!
- I am lost without my DSLR camera. I am not even motivated to take pictures. We kept getting an error on the camera. I checked our receipt and we had 3 days before the warranty expired. I can't believe our luck. Usually, it goes the other way...I'd check and it would be 3 days AFTER it expired! We logged the error and had to send the camera to Ontario for servicing. Hopefully we get it back soon!
- It's been all about poop this week. We started the week off with Sammy asking to poop on the potty (which she did), then she got sick and possible potty training went to shit (literally). Presley went 7 days without a poop, Samara barely went 7 hours without one and I spent the whole time stressing about both of them! You'll all be happy to know that Presley and Samara are both back to pooping once a day. I am happy and I'm sure their bums are too!
- It never fails that whenever I post an update on Presley's sleep, we have a hideous night. I don't even want to talk about it anymore because it jinxes us!
- Samara has come up with a fun game to play with Presley. Hide and seek. With a blanket. Both girls love it but it really requires supervision as Samara loses interest without fail after she has put the blanket over Presley's head and walked away.
- I am really dragging my butt this week. I feel mentally drained and that's saying something considering my day consists of repeating words my 21 month old says and gooing and babbling at my 3 month old.

I'm glad Samara is over her little bug or whatever. Alice goes twice a day, usually. When she was a newborn it seems like I changed a hundred dirty diapers a day!
I can understand being drained. Especially if you got a bad night of sleep! I remember being able to "function" with little sleep, but once I got more sleep I would feel worse!
Hope you get your camera back soon!
Samara only poops once a day?!? Maddy must have some kind of problem - she's usually 4x! And since she only poops in clean diapers, I change about 10 diapers a day still. We're trying to encourage the potty, but have had zero success.
Bad sleep always leaves me drained. I used to wonder how I could possibly make it through the day without a good night of sleep, but eventually I'd feel better (though the good sleep never came...)

Went to a drumming circle on Wednesday-they had the same kind of bells that I stuck in your collection but attached to a stand with elastic holding the bells-i would recommend the strong elastic we use on waist bands if you dare to try it with Samara-otherwise she will have them flying all over the place
I feel ya on the mentally drained part. I'm not sure how it's possible but I'm feeling it, too.
Time does fly by so fast. Can't believe it's Friday already - gotta start working on reheating those leftovers :).
My Dakota is a once- or twice-a-day pooper. Griffin has been daily lately, but will go up to 4 or 5 days with no poops and be perfectly comfortable. The life of a breastfed baby!

Oh we have our own poop-less disasters here...I am looking for more fiber for the kid pronto! Also, um, yes, blogs jinx sleep. So do message boards!
Is it wrong that I giggled when I read that Samara plays hide and seek and then walks away? I loved it when my girls started interacting. So much fun!
