A few months ago, I posted about our dance parties. Dancing has turned out to mean running around the island in the kitchen as fast as possible to our favorite tunes, mosh pit style. These dance parties occur several times a day, without warning.
I mentioned last time that I ruin songs. Well, now Samara ruins songs too. She requests certain ones until you want to cut off your ears at the thought of listening to it again.

Lol! If Alice had her way, we would listen to Justin Bieber and some other song (that makes me want to cut my ears off) that I don't know what it is. I usually let her listen and dance because it is too cute! And the head bobbing is worth it!
I need to buy Justin Bieber's cd for her (maybe for Easter?) as I can tolerate it :-)

Currently I am killing the Mamma Mia soundtrack...... again. I saw Mamma Mia in the theatre four times and when I listen to it I die from glee. My children hate me.
I also kill Coldplay on a regular basis. Well, they will never be dead in my eyes but my family strongly disagrees.
I love that you expose me to new music. I really need to do a better job with my girls.

Bare naked Ladies "Snack time" - the WHOLE album. It's pretty good for kids songs but I lay awake at night for hours with them on repeat in my head - BRUTAL!!!
My daughter has requested that I dance with her everytime music comes on. Insists quite frantically, in fact. So we whip around my living room numerous times throughout the day, with her head on my shoulder and the dogs trying to trip me. I love it!
My husband has taken to making up his own songs for our dance parties. Usually they involve something about poopie diapers or drooly faces :).
