It's Official!

Today is the First Day of Summer. My calendar says so. Mother Nature is in agreement. After yesterday's post, I thought I'd turn the tables on you. What are your plans for summer? What's one thing you really hope to do before the days turn short again?

I'd like to:
- Have a bbq and invite lots of friends over!
- Get a little bit of a tan while reading a good book.
- Go to Grand Forks for a mini vacation and enjoy every second of it sitting outside in the sun. And riding the lawn mower, because I think ride mowers are a whole lot of fun. Loud, but fun.

I can't wait to take Grace to our camp for the first time! We're planning a trip to the zoo too!

My plan is to survive it. That's all. Just survive it. And that's good enough for me.

Oh, and there will be a ton of beach time. That's one thing I can guarantee.

It was great to wake up to sun
The rain was needed for sure but time for the floods to stop

I need to find a time machine to make summer last longer so I can:
Check out Writing on Stone Provincial Park
Adventure with Kelly to the Torrington Gopher Museum and
Take the husband to Wells Gray Provincial Park (he's never been, its magical)

Sell the house! That's the main goal. And, you know, have lots of fun with Logan of course!

You've inspired me to blog about this, but my right now my #1 summer goal is to relax enough to enjoy Iceland

I'm already enjoying it. Spending the days with the kids playing outside, visiting water parks, swimming, and soon to be visiting my family.
