Friday Night Leftovers
- Tomorrow. Tomorrow is the day I leave my little girls with their Daddy and spend some much needed adult time with a dear girlfriend. It's even an overnight trip (GASP!). I've never left Presley overnight and the only time I've ever done it with Samara is when I was in the hospital pushing her sister out. I'm excited. And nervous. I know this is good for me. For them.
- I mentioned here about our successful 'kicking of the sugar' habit. Someone asked how I feel. Good! It's nice not to be ruled by my sugar cravings. I have stable energy throughout the day instead of the intense highs and even more intense lows that come with overdosing yourself with sugar multiple times a day. I'm sleeping better as well. I fall asleep within minutes of hitting the pillow. After these delicious ice cream cones on Sunday? I tossed and turned forever before finally falling into a restless sleep. So, even though our 21 days are over, we continue to live sugar free (mostly).
- I know I've mentioned this before but seriously people, do you need to load ALL the pictures on your camera onto Facebook? Do we need to see 18 versions of the exact same pose? Do we need to see pictures where someone is blinking? If you're someone that does this, please explain it to me! Is it just easier than sorting?
- Presley is now into everything. She was slobbering over an extension cord today before I rescued her. She can now crawl and get into a sitting position...crawl, crawl, crawl, sit and repeat. She also climbed her first stair at the park today. And stands for a few seconds unassisted. Slow down, Presley! There's lots of time for that, you can still be a baby!
- One of the sweetest things to watch is Samara develop friendships. She sees her best friend a couple of times a week and talks about her constantly. Could they be any cuter?!
- What is it with Blogger that makes pictures look awful?

omg H was standing for a few seconds unassisted the other day/past few days as well!!! She still doesn't know how to get to sitting from crawling though!!
Ha, sometimes I just can't pick my favorite picture so I've been known to upload a few of "the same" pic... but I also don't understand why people do that. Especially when the pic ins't even good!!

the only time i upload bad pictures is when i'm doing it just to bug the person in the picture that looks ridiculous. and lets be honest... the only pictures i've been adding to facebook lately are pictures of my stomach. nobody would be interested in pictures of my cats/dogs/crocheting (i lead a super exciting life. LOL!)

And I've also wondered why people just dump all their photos on facebook. It can be funny if it's just a bad picture of someone, but if you're uploading pictures of your vacation, do we really need to see all 27 photos you took of the clouds looking out the plane window? Not that exciting.
I think I know some of those people on facebook! lol.. Seriously though -- WHY?!!
And if I could figure out how to upload better pics on blogger I'd tell. I hate how small and off they look, they look way better on wordpress but I've been at my blog to long to want to loose all my followers. :(

I hate it when people load EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. on Facebook. It's like they have to show everything, even if it's not worth looking at. Ugh.

Photos look bad because of the compression, you're squeezing 2000 pixels into an 800 pixel space. It looks a lot better when you click on it and view it full size.
How was your trip? I am totally jealous!
