Friday Night Leftovers
- I just read about a challenge. I'm never one to back down so we're obviously in. The challenge is to take your kids outside every single day for 90 days. It doesn't matter if it's windy, rainy or cold...you just dress for the weather. It started on September 23 and ends December 22. We're a week late into the game but I'm pretty sure we've been outside every day in the last week anyway. Some days it will be playing in the yard, sometimes a bike ride or walk, other times something new and exciting like a visit to a corn maze...doesn't have to be the same thing, just that we all get some fresh air. - Today it's going to be +30. What a great summer/fall we've had! We've had some chilly mornings though. The house has gotten down to 19 at times...but we've resisted turning on the heat. Tomorrow is only a predicted high of +16 so being that it's also the first day of October, I think we'll cave!
- I went for a massage last night. It was pure bliss.
- Presley is working hard at becoming a full time walking baby. She now takes 4 steps regularly. It looks so weird to see such a tiny girl walking already.
- Sammy has started visiting us around 5am every morning. She sleeps with us for awhile. Well, she sleeps...we don't. Such a squirmy kid!
- I'm working the farmer's market for Neat Nat Style tomorrow. I'm excited and hope I do well!

We have to go outside at least one a day. That's what happens when you have a boy with the energy level my 3yr old has!

I try to but some days I just climb the 3 level of stairs inside-my own Mount Everest.Just gathered some pinecones for the local after school and daycare-while you are out check them out-gorgeous ones-I was going to leave them near the rock garden so the kids could pick them up but decided not a great idea without the daycare workers permission

Still have some panels of the farm quilt I just needed to sew-what a crazy night it was finishing that one so I could leave it in Lethbridge

I should do that challenge. I'm totally guilty of going outside to get in the car and then into the store. Unfortunately the weather sucks here buuuut I just bought H a new coat so I should stop makIng excuses huh?

The challenge does sound very cool. I just wish it would stop raining here every day so that we can enjoy it a little more.
I am all about getting outside every day, but not in rainy weather. Now, with a dog they help walk him every time he goes out.
