Friday Night Leftovers
- What is up with advent calendars going until the end of the year? Didn't they used to countdown until Christmas?
- I'm donating blood for the first time tomorrow. Do you donate?
- Presley is officially down to 1 nap a day. Even if she gets up at 5am, she will not nap until after lunch. I can't complain too much, that nap is 3.5-4 hours long.
- Speaking of napping, Samara isn't. She naps maybe several times a week now. Oh, how I am mourning this!
- I just bought these. I'm excited to try them and ditch our chemical softeners and dryer sheets for good.
- Is there anything better than logging into Paypal to pay for a purchase only to find out you have a credit balance? It's like your purchase is free!
- I'm taking Samara to the theatre on Monday to see If You Give a Mouse a Cookie . I'm very excited! She loved seeing a movie so I'm hoping a live production goes over just as well.

I think one super long nap is better for your day than two naps, so I would take it. We're officially a no nap household, though my only surprise is that naps lasted this long.
That would be such a fun show to see! Hope Samara loves it.
And I've never heard of an advent calendar going past Christmas. Doesn't that make it just a calendar? I'm going to start early and make an advent calendar for next year.
Grace was given an advent calendar that goes until the end of the year! First time I've seen them!
I have donated blood several times - such an easy way to do something for someone else! And oh, oh, oh, the end of naps...covering my ears, lalala!
I loved when my boys went to a looooooong afternoon nap! So much time to myself or one on one with the older kid.
Naps are no longer happening in this house for either boy (waaahhhhhhh) so I'm making quiet time bins. Check out my board on pinterest- might keep Sammy busy for an hour in the afternoons?
I've never donated blood but really should since I was the recipient of 3L when I had my emerg surgery. I think I will make that one of my 2012 goals.
I got those dryer balls for Christmas and so far, I'm loving them. I think we are over-drying our clothes though, so we are still dealing with some static.
So you use these balls instead of softener, too? How long do they last?
