Friday Leftovers
- I mentioned yesterday that I was going for a pulp test. It wasn't as bad as it sounded. Turns out I have an old metal filling that is quite close to the nerve. They're going to redo the filling and hopefully that will alleviate the sensitivity. Otherwise, I'm looking at a root canal. Eeeeeep.
- The girls were lovely at the dentist. Sammy remembered to tell the dentist that she has stopped sucking her thumb and he was really excited. He even let her choose a surprise (another purse for her collection).
- Everyone is talking about Silver Linings Playbook. I went and saw it with my girlfriend and we were both underwhelmed. It seems like we're the only ones though. Everyone loves it and I really don't see what the fuss was about.
- Do you have good neighbours? We are lucky that we have ones that have become some of our closest friends. It really is the best.
- The girls are BIG into talking about what kind of cakes they want for their next birthdays. I am not exaggerating when I say we talk about it daily. It changes frequently but as of right now, Sammy wants carrot cake, Daddy wants carrot cake, Presley wants another pink cake and I want cheesecake!
- I'm heading to Calgary for the weekend ALONE. I'm visiting a bunch of girlfriends and it's going to be lovely. I will miss Shawn and the girls but I don't think it's bad for us all to miss each other every now and then.

Haven't seen Silver Linings Playbook. Probably won't until I can somehow watch it for free! lol.

Oh, and PS, I'd like to add that I would like a confetti angel food cake for my birthday ok Tash? Take notes.
I really liked Silver Linings, I must admit. Not in a "that was the most brilliant movie ever" kind of way, more in a "that movie made me happy" kind of way. As an aside, my sister says that the book is amazing, much better than the movie.
We have many lovely neighbours ... who are in their 80s. I wish we were closer with some of the younger ones.
I could totally go for a piece of carrot cake right now.

I just watched silver lining. I thought it was good but I didn't see what the hype was about either. I would like red velvet cake with cream cheese icing for my birthday :). Thinking ill have to make that myself.
I'm dreading the dentist as we are to the point of possibly needing a root canal as well. I have been putting it off for a year. Gulp.
